ODEGA- NIGERIA LOST BECAUSE U.S.A WAS BETTER

Super falcons attacker Francisca Odega, has stated that Nigeria lost their final world cup group game, Canada 2015, against the United States of America because they had better players

Odega said she was disappointed with the result after the Super Falcons had a good start to the competition drawing their first match 3-3 with Sweden and losing 2-0 against Australia in Winnipeg but hoped they would defeat the Americans in their last group match to book a place in the second round of the competition

“They have quality players, very fast and weren’t push over’s because in football you win some, lose some and draw some unfortunately for us we had to lose to a better side in USA”

“I feel disappointed crashing out of the tournament at this stage as African champions, in 2011 same thing happened due to complacency and failed to convert our chances”

The super falcons will regroup in Abuja on Wednesday to prepare for the last round of the all African games Qualifier.
